Accelerated Genetics has several new faces on its team!
Liliana Parker joins as the new International Customer Service Representative in the Marketing Division, based at the Administrative Headquarters in Baraboo, Wis. Parker will coordinate and process orders for Latin America distributors and Accelerated Genetics representatives. In addition, she will provide support materials and assist with tours from Latin America. Parker previously worked at the Baraboo School District in Baraboo, Wis., as a translator for non-English speaking students. She is originally from Mexico City, Mexico, but has lived in Baraboo, Wis., for 18 years. Parker has a husband, Tom, and two children.
William Kellogg, Viola, Wis., has joined Accelerated Genetics as a Regional Assistant. He will provide relief A.I breeding services and direct farm sales to herds for Region 14 in Southern Wisconsin. Kellogg was raised on a 40 cow Jersey Farm, Kell-View Jerseys, where he served as herdsman prior to working for Accelerated Genetics
Ryan Weigel as a Herd Analyst in Southwest Wisconsin and Northwest Illinois. In this position, Weigel will be working with Accelerated Genetics on-farm, computer-mating program GEMpc (Genetic Evaluation and Mating Program). He will be working with each individual herd’s goals, evaluate each animal, and use Accelerated Genetics’ extensive database and computer program to give each herd the best possible matings to ensure genetic progress.
Previously, Weigel served as the Dairy Cattle Show Manager at World Dairy Expo for six years. He also worked for Bou-Matic for five years prior as a District Sales Manager. Weigel grew up on his family’s 100-cow farm, Weigland Registered Holsteins. Currently he is the co-owner of KHW Genetics out of Belmont, Wis. Through KHW Genetics he has produced All-American show cattle and bulls successful in the A.I. Industry. Weigel graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science with a Dairy Science emphasis. He has continued to be active with his university serving on the board of directors for the College of Business Industry Life Science and Agriculture. Weigel is married to wife, Traci and has two daughters.
