Congratulations to Amber Elliott of Marshall, Wis., who has joined Accelerated Genetics as the Sales & Communications Assistant.
Elliott will assist the Sales & Communications team this fall with advertising and design projects, Member Relations, Young Producer events, trade shows, meetings, and writing articles and news releases. She is no stranger to Accelerated Genetics as she was the 2008 Marketing Communications intern.
She grew up on her family’s registered Holstein and Jersey farm, Partee Holsteins & Jerseys. On the farm Elliott has been involved with all aspects of calf and cow care and has been actively showing cattle for numerous years. She is extremely active in the Holstein and Jersey Associations in Wisconsin, along having been involved in 4-H and FFA during her youth.
Besides her farm-related activities, Elliott has experience working for Brodhead + Company in Minneapolis, Minn., as a Public Relations Coordinator. She later joined Filament Marketing as an Associate Marketing Executive. In addition she worked at Agri-View as an Editorial Intern and as an Information Specialist for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Career Services, Student Health and Counseling.
Elliott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in Marketing Communications with an emphasis in Agriculture and a minor in Agricultural Business. At the university Amber was active in Dairy Club, Sigma Alpha and the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.
