The education takes place Feb. 3-4, 2015, as part of the Cattle Industry Convention & NCBA Trade Show going on this February in San Antonio, Texas:

Another early bird session includes a track on Tuesday, February 3rd from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Feeding to Increase the Quality, Consistency and Competitiveness from Market Cows. It will feature Gary Smith, Keith Belk, Daryl Tatum, Dale Woerner from Colorado State University talking about how to improve the quality, consistency and competitiveness of beef produced from market cows; identify production practices that improve the value of market cows; determine the effects of varying levels of supplemental feeding; recognize the differences between different types of cows; and learn value concepts at the feedlot, packing plant and retail levels.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a real Lone Star welcome without the Texas BBQ Welcome Reception, Tuesday, February 3rd from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
