- The USPOULTRY Foundation announced the appointment of Dr. Travis Cigainero as chairman of the Foundation Research Advisory Committee. Dr. Cigainero is manager of broiler technical services for CEVA and has served on the Foundation Research Advisory Committee for 13 years.
- Innovacyn announced the recipients of the Vetericyn® Future Innovators of Agriculture College Scholarship Award. This year’s winners, Alexis Pedrow from Anderson County Jr/Sr High School in Garnett, Kansas and Brendan Register from T. Dewitt Taylor Middle-High School in Seville, Florida will each be given $4,000 towards his or her pursuit of higher education.
