- The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) announced that Jason Strong is the recipient of the 2015 AMSA Intercollegiate Meat Judging Meritorious Service Award. Jason will be honored at a special reception and awards presentation at the AMSA 68th Reciprocal Meat Conference on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Lincoln, NE. He is the managing director and CEO of Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
- The AMSA has also awarded Dr. Jeff Sindelar, Associate Professor/Extension Meat Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the 2015 Distinguished Extension-Industry Service Award. Dr. Sindelar will also be honored during AMSA 68th Reciprocal Meat Conference.
