- James Herring will be honored with the Feeding Quality Forum (FQF) 2015 Industry Achievement Award. The Forum is co-sponsored by Zoetis, Roto-Mix, Purina Mills, Micronutrients, Feedlot magazine and Certified Angus Beef.
- Allen Harim, a leading producer and processor of chicken on Delmarva, has promoted four employees to senior level positions within the company. They include Sylivia Nicholson, Evertt Brown, Scott Yackel and Jim Quinton.
- Alltech’s founder and president, Dr. Pearse Lyons, was awarded honorary membership in the Poultry Science Association (PSA). Honorary membership is awarded by the PSA to non-member individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the national or international advancement of poultry science or the poultry industry.
- Dr. Igal Pevzner, broiler geneticist with Cobb-Vantress, was recognized with the 2015 Poultry Science Association Distinguished Poultry Industry Career Award, sponsored by U.S. Poultry & Egg Association.
