World Appaloosa Show Features Special Events

ApHC-LogoThe Appaloosa Horse Club(ApHC) is gearing up for the upcoming 2015 World Championship Appaloosa Show. The industry’s nine-day, premier international event will take place October 23- 31 at the Will Rogers Memorial Equestrian Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

The horse show will showcase the talent, athleticism, and versatility of Appaloosas and their exhibitors: traditional equestrian divisions such as jumping, cattle, halter, and western pleasure will be represented, as well as unique-to-the-breed, horse-against-horse speed events.

Aside from the world-caliber equestrian competition, this year’s special events include a progressive appetizer, entree, and dessert social, a variety of sales and giveaways in the show’s Best of The West Gift Expo, and the second annual Appaloosa Youth Association (AYA) Costume Contest

The ApHC and attendees will also join forces to give back during the annual Toys for Tots performance of the show, featuring exciting classes like Freestyle Reining-Be sure to bring an unwrapped toy or cash donation as admission! Following the performance, the American Cancer Society Benefit Calcutta will take place. Don your pink apparel and enjoy a live auction, raffle, donations, pink cupcakes and much more!

The show will also feature the inaugural Online World Appaloosa Sale from October 27-29 through equineauctiononline.com. Yearlings, preferred show horses and breeders’ sale horses will be the spotlight of the online sale.
