Marc Prikazsky, CevaJust prior to the American Association of Swine Veterinarians Annual Meeting Ceva announced the launch of their newly created U.S. Swine Division. On the stage at the Ceva U.S. Swine Launch and Scientific Symposium to make the announcement is Mark Prikazsky, DVM and CEO/Chairman of the Board, Ceva. As you can see from his title, he is a veterinarian himself! The company has over 1,000 employees owners too, something that is very unique in animal health companies. Here’s the vision:

The health of animals, people and the planet are inextricably linked. The world needs a holistic approach to health, that understands that, by protecting the health of animals and our environment, we protect our own health and future.

I will be interviewing Marc shortly and will add my interview with him for you here so that he can explain more about this new division of the company.

Post Update:

Marc says that if you’re going to be successful in the swine industry you have to be successful in the U.S. so a team has been assembled and new products to provide solutions to producers are forthcoming. He says that they want to go beyond vaccines and include equipment. In my interview with him you can learn more about Ceva and their launch of a U.S. swine division.
