  • Kent Nutrition Group (KNG) manufacturing plant at Rockford, Illinois, was named 2015 “Feed Mill of the Year” by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) and Feedstuffs. The company recognized its 11 employees for their overall excellence in feed manufacturing operations, quality and safety with an open house for dealers and KNG employees.
  • Cooperatives Working Together (CWT) has accepted 5 requests for export assistance from Northwest Dairy Association and Michigan Milk Producers Association who have contracts to sell 659,182 pounds of Cheddar cheese, 104,720 pounds of butter and 132,277 pounds to customers in Asia and South America. The product has been contracted for delivery in the period from June through November 2016.
  • The USPOULTRY Foundation is now accepting applications from colleges and universities for Industry Education Recruitment Funding. The funding supports student recruitment at colleges and universities that cultivate careers in the poultry and egg industry. Any institution of higher education in the United States that can show conceivable ways of connecting students with the poultry and egg industry is eligible to apply for a recruitment grant of up to $7,000.
