  • Meghan Connelly was recently selected as the Vita Plus dairy nutrition and management fellowship student from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She will gain experience in dairy nutrition and management consulting spanning three semesters and a summer.
  • Dr. Rhonda Miller, Professor at Texas AM University, has begun her three-year term on the American Meat Science Association (AMSA) Board of Directors as the 2016-2017 President Elect. Dr. Miller has been an active member of AMSA since 1979 serving as a Director from 1998-2000 and on numerous AMSA committees. She was the recipient of the 1992 AMSA Distinguished Achievement Award, 2006 AMSA Distinguished Teaching Award and 2015 Distinguished Research Award.
  • Dr. Janet Fulton, molecular biologist with Hy-Line International, received the 2016 Poultry Science Association Distinguished Poultry Industry Career Award, sponsored by U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY).
