- SyAnn Foster will join the American Hereford Association team as the new education and information services coordinator. Foster will develop educational programs and assist Hereford breeders in understanding online data submission and best practices for Whole Herd Total Performance Records (TPR®) participation.
- World Dairy Expo announced changes to its 2016 Youth Fitting Contest including the addition of an Intermediate Division for participants ages 13 to 16 years old on the day of the contest. Both the Intermediate Division and the current Senior Division, ages 17 to 21 on the day of the contest, will be split into Male and Female divisions for the first time this year.
- Farm Journal will host the MILK Business Conference November 7-9, 2016 in Henderson, Nevada. The event will provide insight on the changing and challenging dairy industry. Register by September 30, 2016 to receive the early bird pricing.
