- Abigail Shipley will join the American Hereford Association and its subsidiary entity, Hereford Publications Inc., as the new creative services coordinator. Shipley will assist with and manage HPI projects and will be responsible for coordinating projects to meet print deadlines.
- Dan Schimek has joined NutriQuest as Director of Dairy Technology and will lead the development of NutriQuest dairy technologies. Schimek will focus on developing products and technologies to serve the U.S. and international dairy markets.
- Todd Wilson recently was appointed general manager for Cobb-Vantress Inc. for North America. Wilson comes to Cobb-Vantress from Tyson Foods Inc. where he was senior director of continuous improvement. He has worked for Tyson Foods since 1989.
- Cooperatives Working Together (CWT) has accepted 13 requests for export assistance from Dairy Farmers of America, Northwest Dairy Association/Darigold and Tillamook County Creamery Association, which have contracts to sell 2.288 million pounds of Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese to customers in Asia, Central America, the Middle East, North Africa and Oceania.
