Ceva Introduces GleptoForte™ to U.S. Swine Industry

While attending the Iowa Pork Congress this week, Ceva Animal Health was pleased to announce the availability of GleptoForte™ (gleptoferron injection) 200 mg per 1 mL dose of iron for use in the United States to prevent and treat anemia due to iron deficiency in baby pigs.

Ceva Swine Business director Gary Robertson and Matt Kocher, Director of Marketing Swine & Poultry, made the announcement in a letter to swine health professionals. “Ceva’s decision to market GleptoForte™, our flagship iron supplement, in the United States demonstrates our commitment to provide our customers with both a high-quality injectable iron AND a reliable supply of product,” they said. “As a trusted supplier of effective animal health products and services, we look forward to working with you and your swine customers to improve swine health and productivity.”

GleptoForte™ is an FDA-approved injectable iron solution of gleptoferron that has demonstrated safety and efficacy.
