Throughout 2017 New Holland Agriculture is celebrating 50 years of continuous production of their Rolabar Rakes. I have spent many summers pulling one of these around making windrow after windrow and was eager to learn more about it’s success.

George Rigdon, New Holland hay tool marketing manager, said, “We were the first in grassland farming as a brand. At one point in time, this rake had 20,000 produced in a year. It really set the standard for raking a clean, nice windrow.”

To commemorate this milestone, New Holland is giving away two Rolabar Rakes. One is designed with a vintage decal and the other in camo. Those who attended the 2017 Cattle Industry Convention & NCBA Trade Show and will attend the 2017 National Farm Machinery Show can stop by their booth to enter for a chance to win one of the classic rakes. Don’t worry…if you can’t register in person, you can do so online. The contest will end May 15 and the drawing will take place soon after.
