Cooperatives Working Together announced Monday that it has accepted two bids from Land O’Lakes of Arden Hills, MN; one to facilitate the export of 100 metric tons (220,000 pounds) of butter to Lebanon, and another to export 120 metric tons (264,000 pounds) of butter to Hong Kong. CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidder, once completion of the butter shipments is verified. These are the first exports to Lebanon and Hong Kong that have been facilitated by CWT.
Cooperatives Working Together announced Tuesday that it has accepted two export assistance bids, one for butter and another for cheese. The first bid, from California Dairies Inc. of Artesia, CA, is to facilitate the export of 100 metric tons (220,000 pounds) of butter to Russia. The second, from Land O’Lakes of Arden Hills, MN, is to help export 40 metric tons (88,000 pounds) of Mozzarella cheese to South Korea. CWT will pay an export bonus to each of the bidders, once completion of the butter and cheese shipments is verified.
