Holstein Association USA is currently seeking applicants for the Robert H. Rumler MBA Scholarship.
Applications are due April 15, 2012, and the successful applicant will receive a $3,000 scholarship to apply towards their Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) program expenses. The scholarship is awarded annually to the recipient at the time of enrollment in an MBA program as a full time student. This may be either at the beginning of the program or as a second year student. Applications are available online, under the Robert H. Rumler Scholarship tab.
This scholarship program was established to honor former Executive Secretary Robert H. Rumler by Holstein Association USA at the time of his retirement after 36 years of service. Rumler believed that U.S. agribusiness, including production agriculture, needed and deserved the best trained, most highly qualified leaders that the nation’s educational system and practical experience could provide. The establishment of this MBA scholarship for qualified individuals with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, preferably dairy, and recognizable traits of leadership, management intuitiveness and work experience, works hand-in-hand with Mr. Rumler’s wish.
