Select Sires Inc. has hired Megan Buechner as a sales and marketing communications specialist. In this role, Buechner will be responsible for designing and developing promotional material for Select Sires’ high components breeds lineup as well as several programs and product lines.

“I am excited to be joining the communications team at Select Sires,” says Buechner. “As the industry leader, Select Sires has set a high standard for producing great products and the best genetics. I look forward to promoting these products and genetics to producers around the world.”

Buechner graduated in June 2012 from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and a minor in agribusiness. While in college she was an active member of the Buckeye Dairy Club, Alpha Sigma Upsilon, CERES International and the Scarlet and Gray Ag Day planning committee. During 2011 and 2012, Buechner served as the corporate communications intern at Select Sires Inc. Most recently, she worked in human resources in northwest Ohio.
