World Dairy Expo is pleased to announce Trans Ova Genetics is sponsoring additional cash prizes and awards for the International Futurity. Through this generous sponsorship, Trans Ova Genetics is recognized as a Four Star sponsor of World Dairy Expo.

This year, Trans Ova Genetics will be awarding each futurity breed champion a $500 cash prize, in addition to purse prize money. Neck ribbons and medallions for first through fifth place cows in each breed class will be presented as well. The overall futurity champion will receive a $1,000 check courtesy of Trans Ova Genetics.

The fourteenth World Dairy Expo International Futurity is open to Three-Year-Old cows that were entered in 2011. Classes will take place in the Coliseum immediately following the Senior Two-Year-Old Class in each breed show. The 2014 World Dairy Expo International Futurity Champion Selection will be held on Saturday, October 4 immediately following the Holstein futurity class.

World Dairy Expo is recognized as the meeting place for the global dairy industry. More than 70,000 dairy producers and industry experts from 90 countries travel to Madison, Wis. annually. The world-class event includes 2,500 head of North American dairy cattle competing on the famed “colored shavings”, more than 850 exhibiting companies in the renowned trade show, Expo Seminars, Virtual Farm Tours and exciting youth competitions.
