National Cattlemen’s Beef Association CEO Forrest Roberts had the honor of introducing the new US Farmers and Ranchers Alliance “Faces of Farming and Ranching” at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting convention last week in Kansas City.
“This is the second class of really great talented farmers and ranchers from across the country to serve as spokespersons for the USFRA,” said Roberts, who serves on the USFRA board.”They will be very engaged throughout the next year in being able to represent American agriculture.”
All five of the new “faces” are involved in the livestock industry, including Illinois hog producer Thomas Titus, beef producer Jay Hill of New Mexico, Iowa pig farmer Erin Brenneman, dairy farmer Carla Wardin of Michigan, and Texas turkey producer Darrell Glaser. In this interview with Taylor Truckey, Roberts talks about the selection process for these representatives and the other exciting efforts underway by USFRA to get the story of agriculture out to the public. Interview with NCBA CEO Forrest Roberts, USFRA board member
