The 2015 World Pork Expo is right around the corner, June 3-5 and will present four diverse musical acts during MusicFest on Thursday, June 4, offering something for everyone. From 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., attendees can take in the musical performances on Grand Avenue at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
Brought to you by the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC), this year’s entertainment will include an encore show by Jake McVey; the crowd-pleasing group, Hot Rod-Chevy Kevy; Denny Laine, formerly with Paul McCartney and Wings; and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Terry Sylvester.
“As the world’s largest pork-specific trade show winds down Thursday afternoon, Expo-goers can enjoy free roasted pork during MusicFest — all of which is included in the price of admission,” says Alicia Newman, World Pork Expo’s general manager. “It is a great opportunity to mingle with other pork producers, enjoy sponsors’ hospitality and have some fun while listening to a showcase of talented musicians.”
