The Meat Industry Hall of Fame is proud to announce seven new members after a record number on nominees were on this year’s ballot, and a record number of votes cast.
“This year’s Class of 2015 is a stellar group that includes some of the most successful business leaders in the meat and poultry industries,” said Dan Murphy, Meat Industry Hall of Fame Executive Director.
The new members are:
Bill Buckner, President of Cargill Meat Solutions
Jo Ann Smith, past President, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association
Bill McMillan, former National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Vice President for Washington Affairs
Ed Jones, late President of Jones Dairy Farm
Jim Lochner, retired Tyson Foods Chief Operating Officer
Laurence Bettcher, retired Bettcher Industries Chairman & CEO
Wolf Ludwig, Founder of Wolf-tec and WTI
The 2015 Induction Ceremony will take place on November 2 in Washington, D.C.
