World Dairy Expo hosted a press conference this morning to mark the formal release of We Need A Show, the commemorative book published as the kickstart to a year long celebration of 2016, which marks the 50 year anniversary of the show.
The book, a collaboration of over 40 volunteer writers and photographers, gives insight to the humble beginnings of the World Dairy Expo, discusses the show’s journey to its present state and all of the people behind its success, and also looks forward to the future of the Expo.
Speakers included We Need A Show co-editor Corey Geiger, World Dairy Expo General Manager Scott Bentley, and Roy Hetts, the son of World Dairy Expo founder Alan Hetts. Pictured here is Roy and his family, who still exhibit here at the show.
Books can be purchased during this year’s expo, and will be for sale online at the end of the show.
