The 2015 World Dairy Expo was kickoff to a year of celebration. Next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the international event and one way to reflect on those successful years is in a commemorative book. “We Need a Show” co-editors Steve Larson and Corey Geiger took time to chat with me about their vision and collaborative efforts to bring the book into fruition.
Both were first exposed to the World Dairy Expo as students at the University of Wisconsin and have stories of true dedication to the event.
Corey (pictured here) said, “I think one of the things that is so incredible about this book and what became World Dairy Expo was the volunteers. These people came together, built this show and didn’t get a dime for it. They did it because it was the right thing. They had a passion for America’s Dairyland.”
During the show attendees had the opportunity to purchase the book onsite and now those interested can get the book online for just $25.
