It’s time to highlight another World Dairy Expo award winner. We would like to send a special congratulations to a fellow member of the media for being named the 2015 World Dairy Expo Industry Person of the Year.
Jim Dickrell has more than 35 years of dairy publication experience, has served as the editor of Dairy Today magazine since 1989 and was named published in 2007. Jim oversees the annual publication of the World Dairy Expo Official Program and Dairy Today’s Expo Special Edition daily e-newsletter.
He said over the years journalism has really changed. Back then no one really crossed over into different segments of media. “Today, Farm Journal Media has TV stations, a radio network, websites, e-newsletters and the print magazine. It is a 24-7 news cycle and we call it the insatiable beast because you have to continually feed all these news outlets.”
