The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) has announced that the 2016 AQHA Annual Convention will be held March 11-14, 2016, at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The AQHA convention is held each spring, providing members an opportunity to come together and review member-submitted rule changes, appoint new AQHA directors, induct new members into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and present year-end awards.

All current AQHA members are invited to attend this year’s convention, which will also feature an equine industry small-business workshop and a town hall meeting focusing on industry issues. The town hall meeting offers attendees the opportunity to come together with other members of the Quarter Horse Industry to engage in collaborative discussion, and AQHA encourages members to attend and weigh in on some of the hard-hitting issues facing the equine industry today.
