Indiana-based agribusiness consultant, Sarah Beth Aubrey, released her first novel, “Championship Drive.” The 244-page fiction work is set in the Midwest and features the coming of age story of heroine Savannah Morgan, a young woman suddenly thrust into the management of her small cattle farm. The story chronicles Savannah’s triumphs and trials as she seeks to maintain the farm while achieving her dreams.
Livestock exhibiting enthusiasts will find the book’s backdrop of national shows appealing and familiar. The cast of characters includes Savannah’s friends and a series of various romances along the way. “It’s been a rare privilege to write a book that I hope resonates with those of us that love raising and showing livestock. While the story is fiction, I’ve already heard from many people that I was surely writing about them or a situation they went through,” said Ms. Aubrey. She and her husband, Cary, live in Central Indiana and exhibit purebred beef cattle throughout the U.S. The book is available in paperback or e-book wherever books are sold.
