Tonisity PX, the first isotonic protein drink for pigs, made a splash at the 2016 World Pork Expo, and Bill Barr, Director of Sales for Tonisity, was on hand to lead a press conference on the potential the new product holds for the future of the swine industry.

Tonisity Px is focused on increasing pig vitality, and its benefits are optimized when given from days two through nine of a piglet’s life. The product helps pigs cope with stress, decreases pre-weaning mortality, increases weaning weights and improves gut health, improving return on investment for each litter. Px also features a palatable taste profile, and provides hydration and intestinal support necessary to get them off to a fast, healthy start.

“We’re interested in finding some producers interested in trying our product and seeing if it can help solve some of the challenges facing their operations today,” Barr said in an interview during the 2016 Expo. “We’re interested in visiting with producers and getting trials set up with them.”

Tonisity is already a global company, and recently launched their product in Dublin, but their main focus is the swine industry in North and South America and throughout Europe.
