Dairy Cattle Show entries are now open for exhibitors at the 50th World Dairy Expo. Entry forms are available online through the Dairy Cattle Entry system, and the Expo website has them available for print. Entries are due Aug. 31, 2016. Late online entries will be accepted until Sept. 11. Paper entries will be accepted until the day of the show. Late entries of all kinds will be accepted at an increased rate.
New for 2016 is the requirement for all animals to have an official USDA AIN or Canadian CCIA RFID number listed on the entry form at the time of submission. Animal entries lacking this number, or with a pending identification status, will not be accepted.
Entry information, the complete schedule of events, show rules, and other updates can be found in the Premium Book, which was mailed to recent dairy cattle exhibitors on July 1. The Premium Book is also available online at the World Dairy Expo website. New exhibitors can request a copy of the Premium Book by contacting the World Dairy Expo office at 608-224-6455 or entries@wdexpo.com.
