Cargill recently changed the name of its feed and food software business to Format Solutions. The new name follows the company’s successful integration of Format International, and represents Cargill’s commitment to offer its customers a comprehensive, integrated set of software offerings, industry knowledge and expertise in animal and human nutrition.

Format Solutions operates as a separate and distinct business, specializing in the design, authoring and marketing of recipe optimization, ingredient allocation, operational efficiency and food and feed formulation solutions for the animal feed, aqua feed, pet food, human food, premix and other industries. This new combined organization has plans to build a unique, state-of-the-art technology platform for formulation, operations and farm management software solutions for its customers.
