Swine producers at the Iowa Pork Congress this week will be able to learn more about ChronoMate from Ceva Animal Health, a global swine health company with U.S. headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas.

ChronoMate™ (altrenogest) from Ceva facilitates synchronization of estrus in sexually mature gilts that have had at least one estrous cycle. This allows sow farm managers to more accurately control the critical breeding and farrowing schedule for gilts, which maximizes the flow of uniform pigs throughout the system.

Founded by veterinarians, Ceva introduced ChronoMate last year as the first of its swine health solutions. The company is exhibiting this week in booth 1217 at the Iowa Pork Congress.
