Accelerated Genetics is pleased to announce it has nine summer interns working in various areas of the company.
The Sales and Service Interns will develop skills in artificial insemination, learn about reproductive services, such as estrus synchronization programs, as well as receive a broad-range of experience in all Sales division positions and Accelerated Genetics’ programs.
Based in Iowa for the summer is Kyle Musfeldt, Coon Rapids, Iowa. He is majoring in Animal Science at Iowa State University. Located in southern Wisconsin are Brittany Sorg, Spring Green, Wis. and Colton Carpenter, Darlington, Wis. Sorg is majoring in Animal Science with Dairy Science emphasis at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Carpenter is majoring in Animal Science with Dairy Science emphasis the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Grant Gausman, Baldwin, Wis., and Andrew Hornberg, Winona, Minn., are working in northern Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota, and northeast Iowa. Gausman is majoring in Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Hornberg is attending Northeast Iowa Community College.
Assisting in the Communications department are the Marketing Communications Interns. They work with a variety of projects in the areas of public relations, communications, photography, videography, and graphic design.
Morgan Meisenheimer, Mount Airy, Md., is double majoring in Agriculture Communications and Animal Science at Oklahoma State University. Mandy Brazil, Petaluma, Calif., is majoring in Agriculture Communications with minors in Dairy Science and Agribusiness at California Polytechnic State University.
Working with the Genetics Department picturing progeny and coordinating daughter tours are the Genetic Services Interns.
Kirsten Langrehr, West Salem, Wis., is majoring in Dairy Science-Management at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Kelli Carstensen, Petaluma, Calif., is majoring in Dairy Science with a minor in Agribusiness at California Polytechnic State University.
