R&D LifeSciences’ vice president Mike DuBois is one of three new industry members elected to join the Liquid Feed Committee of the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA).
DuBois said he is honored to be selected for this committee. He said, “Liquid feed plays a large role in our business as we develop enzyme additives and work with producers to improve their production output. It’s a natural fit to work with other AFIA members dedicated to this segment of the industry.”
Matt Ramsey of ADM Alliance Nutrition and Chris Hancock of Elanco Animal Health are also joining the committee this spring. Dr. Nicolas DiLorenzo, assistant professor at the University of Florida will serve as the new university representative to the committee. The new members will join the committee for the March meeting which will involve planning for the 45th annual Liquid Feed Seminar. The conference will be held in Minneapolis, Min. in September.
AFIA represents companies involved in the feed manufacturing business as a leader in the legislation and regulation of the total feed industry. The organization provides updates to members and creates networking opportunities, such as the Liquid Feed Seminar.
