As trade issues become increasingly prevalent in headlines throughout both the agricultural media and the popular press’ coverage of the current election season, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) will be hosting a webinar on international trade beef trade. The webinar will take place May 12, 2016, at 7:00 pm CST.
Trade has long been an important component of the cattle industry and often a confusing topic for cattlemen, and the upcoming webinar will feature the insights of industry experts; Kent Bacus, NCBA Director of International Trade and Market Access; and Dan Halstrom, U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) Senior Vice President of Global Marketing.
The free webinar will allow listeners to hear an update on the current state of beef trade, an overview of the policy issues that are effecting beef trade today, and what the experts see in the future for beef trade. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions immediately following the presentations.
