Novus International, Inc. has spent all year celebrating 25 years of commitment to animal nutrition solutions for livestock, poultry and aquaculture. During the recent World Pork Expo they stressed their dedication to pork producers as they face more regulations and challenges than ever from suppliers, consumers and the U.S. Government.

Novus invited attendees to their tent during #WPX16 to help them celebrate their 25th anniversary with the annual Pig Pickin’. The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) again provided the hog that was prepared by Lynch’s BBQ. I sat down with Jared Hux, senior marketing manager at Novus, to learn more about the festivities set forth for a year of honoring the last 25 years and a glimpse into their future.

“Twenty-five years ago Monsanto sold the feed additive division and we are celebrating that this year. We have grown from a one product, one species company to marketing in 100 countries around the world.”

Later this year we will see Novus launching new products worldwide featuring enzymes, minerals, antioxidants and their other leading technologies. “We are really celebrating the heritage we were born out of. We are a science-based company. We are proud of that and want to stick to that.”

Later this week at their headquarters in St. Charles, MO., Novus will honor their employees with a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game, concert and much more. Luckily, I will be there to cover it all. So, stay tuned for more news from our friends at Novus.
