In just a few days, along with cattlemen and women from across the country, I will be headed to Music City for the 2017 Cattle Industry Convention & NCBA Trade Show. The event is second to none as the oldest and largest national convention for the cattle community. Some flock for the Cattlemen’s College, others for the trade show or committee meetings laying out the business side of the organization.
To get a preview I interviewed Tracy Brunner, 2016 National Cattlemen’s Beef Association President and 4th generation cattleman from Ramona, Kansas, earlier in January during the Missouri Cattlemen’s Convention. Tracy talks about what draws cattlemen to the convention that includes not only the trade show but policy discussions for NCBA. The Cattlemen’s Beef Board will also meet.
