Cooperatives Working TogetherHere’s the latest announcement from Cooperatives Working Together:

Cooperatives Working Together announced today that it accepted six export assistance bids last week for the sale of cheese and butter.

The first bid is from Dairy Farmers of America of Kansas City, MO, for the export of 149 metric tons (327,800 pounds) of Cheddar cheese to Japan. The other bids are from Land O’Lakes of Arden Hills, MN: one for the export of 364 metric tons (800,800 lbs.) of butter to the Netherlands; one for 182 metric tons (400,400 lbs.) of butter to Singapore; one for 20 metric tons (44,000 lbs.) of Mozzarella cheese to China; one for 2.7 metric tons (5,980 lbs.) of mixed cheeses to the United Arab Emirates; and one for 1.8 metric tons (3,934 lbs.) of mixed cheeses to Saudi Arabia.

CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidders, once completion of the butter and cheese shipments is verified.

Cooperatives Working Together announced today that it accepted four export assistance bids last week for the sale of cheese and milkfat.

The first three bids are from Dairy Farmers of America of Kansas City, MO: one for the export of 114 metric tons (250800 pounds) of Cheddar cheese to Poland (the first CWT-facilitated export to that country), 18 metric tons (39,600 lbs.) of Monterey Jack cheese to Japan, and 320 metric tons (704,000 lbs.) of anhydrous milkfat to Indonesia, Panama and the Philippines. The fourth bid was from Foremost Farms of Baraboo, WI, for the export of 46 metric tons (101,200 lbs.) of Mozzarella cheese to Korea.

CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidders, once completion of the milkfat and cheese shipments is verified.

Increasing Dairy Exports Help US Producers

Cooperatives Working Together announced today that it accepted five export assistance bid last week for the sale of butter and cheese. The first three bids are from Dairy Farmers of America of Kansas City, MO: one for the export of 114 metric tons (250,800 pounds) of Cheddar cheese to the Netherlands, a second for the export of 110 metric tons (242,000 lbs.) of Cheddar cheese Japan, and a third for another 110 metric tons (242,000 lbs.) of Cheddar cheese to Japan.

The other bids accepted are from Land O’Lakes of Arden Hills, MN: one for the export of 1 metric ton (2,200 lbs.) of mixed cheeses to Trinidad and Tobago, and another for 0.09 metric tons (198 lbs.) of butter to Trinidad and Tobago. CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidders, once completion of the butter and cheese shipments is verified.

  • Cooperatives Working Together announced today (Monday, October 16) that it accepted an export assistance bid last week for the sale of cheese, and another for the sale of anhydrous milkfat. Both bids are from Dairy Farmers of America of Kansas City, MO: one for the export of 75 metric tons (165,000 pounds) of Cheddar cheese to South Korea; and another for the export of 134 metric tons (294,800 lbs.) of anhydrous milkfat to Mexico. CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidder, once completion of the cheese and milkfat shipments is verified.
