Cooperatives Working TogetherHere’s the latest announcements from Cooperatives Working Together:

  • Cooperatives Working Together announced today (Monday, 9/18)that it accepted five export assistance bids last week for the sale of cheese, and one for anhydrous milkfat. Four of the cheese bids are from Dairy Farmers of America of Kansas City, MO: 95 metric tons (209,000 pounds) of Cheddar to the Netherlands; 54 metric tons (118,800 lbs.) of White Cheddar and Monterey Jack to Japan; 37 metric tons (81,400 lbs.) of Cheddar to Japan; and 2 metric tons (4,400 lbs.) of Mozzarella to Japan. The fifth cheese accepted cheese bid was from Select Milk Producers of Artesia, NM, for the export of 20 metric tons (44,000 lbs.) of Mozzarella to Japan. The final accepted bid was also from Dairy Farmers of America, for 17 metric tons (37,400 lbs.) of anhydrous milkfat to Mexico. CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidders, once completion of the cheese and milkfat shipments is verified.

  • Cooperatives Working Together announced today that it accepted three export assistance bid for the sale of cheese last week. All three bids are from Dairy Farmers of America of Kansas City, MO. All are for Cheddar cheese destined for South Korea. The first is 114 MT (250,800 pounds), the second 37 MT (81,400 lbs.), and the third is 18.5 MT (40,700 lbs.). CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidders, once completion of the cheese shipments is verified.

  • Cooperatives Working Together announced Friday that it has accepted two export assistance bid for the sale of cheddar cheese to Indonesia and mozzarella cheese to Korea. The first bid is from Darigold , Seattle, WA for the export of 25 metric tons (55,000 pounds) of cheddar cheese to Indonesia. The second is from Foremost Farms USA, Baraboo, WI for the export of 40 metric tons (88,000 pounds) of mozzarella cheese to Korea. CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidders, once completion of the cheese shipments is verified.

  • Cooperatives Working Together announced Wednesday that it has accepted an export assistance bid for the sale of mozzarella cheese to Israel. The bid is from Dairy Farmers of America, Kansas City, MO, for the export of 10 metric tons (22,000 pounds) of cheese. CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidder, once completion of the cheese shipment is verified.
  • Cooperatives Working Together announced Monday that it has accepted an export assistance bid for the sale of anhydrous milkfat to Mexico. The bid is from Dairy Farmers of America, Kansas City, MO, for the export of 515 metric tons (1.13 million pounds) of anhydrous milkfat to Mexico. CWT will pay an export bonus to the bidder, once completion of the milkfat shipment is verified.
