Interview With Wallace Behnke
I don’t have a picture of him but I got a chance to interview Wallace Behnke, a World Dairy Expo board member and dairy farmer of mostly registered holsteins here in Wisconsin. Wallace talks about this year’s show and the challenges Expo faces.
Balloon Problems
The weather changed last night and it’s a little windy out today. Not a great time to be filling a balloon as these folks from Alltech are trying to do outside the Coliseum.
Get Your Wristbands At The Holstein Booth
You may remember back on Monday I posted a picture of those hard working staff members of Holstein Association USA, Lisa and Jodie. Well they got their booth set up and looking good.
Strong Second Day Attendance
Attendance here at World Dairy Expo has been strong the first two days. Yesterday was almost exactly the same as day one, with over 10,000 visitors. There are now registered visitors from 71 different countries too.
From Wine Yeast To Animal Nutrition
Virtus Nutrition also held a reception this evening that started out with a fascinating wine tasting presented by Lallemand’s Bob Charley, Forage Products Manager.
Alltech Reception Time
The booths may be closed and most people have left for the day, but there’s still a dedicated group because it’s reception time!
Heading Home For The Day
At 5pm it’s time for most people to be heading out. They’re escaping the late evening rain that’s forecast.
Backside At Ringside
You know I really hesitated to say that “here we are backside, I mean ringside,” but then again pictures speak louder than words sometimes.
Gliding High At Reef Industries
I can’t remember when I’ve made a little balsam wood glider. At the Reef Industries booth they’re giving them away.
