The residents of Britian are going to keep their milkmen! Here across the pond, the milkman has become an image of a time gone by, but in the UK, the home delivery is still very much a reality.

Dairy Crest, which according to its website is the UK’s premier chilled dairy foods company, will take over rival, Arla’s Express Dairies, business.

The move sees Dairy Crest become the largest doorstep milk supplier in Britain, and some believe the deal may save the country’s remaining 9,500 milkmen from oblivion.
