Congratulations to Janet Keller for her new position as World Dairy Expo Communications/Public Relations Manager.

Keller holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she majored in Ag and Extension Education with a Dairy Science Emphasis. She began her dairy career with Tri-State Breeders in Westby, Wis. as Public Relations Coordinator. She later worked for Mapleleaf Genetics as In-Office Manager, Agri-Graphics professional dairy cattle photography as a lab technician and Accelerated Genetics, serving as the Vice President of Marketing Communications. Most recently, she was the Customer Service Coordinator for Semex, working out of their Madison, Wis. office.

Keller is an accomplished dairy cattle judge, having officiated at numerous shows throughout the state. She conducted business at World Dairy Expo for many years as a commercial exhibitor, and also served on World Dairy Expo’s Commercial Exhibitor Committee. While volunteering at the show, she’s assisted with the dairy cattle judging contests, helped with commercial exhibits move-in, led school tours and assisted with showring interviews.

In her new role, Keller will oversee World Dairy Expo’s advertising, communications and public relations programs. She will also assist with World Dairy Expo’s for-profit subsidiary, WDE Management, providing management services to the Dane County Fair, North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge, Purebred Dairy Cattle Association and Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation, Inc.
