Sunny Acres Named Champion Ayrshire

World Dairy Expo 2013Congratulations to Gregory W. B. Evans of Georgetown, N.Y. who took home grand champion with his Ayrshire cow, Sunny Acres TSB Silk in the International Ayrshire Show. This winning Four-Year-Old and Bred and Owned cow received the Udder Comfort $1,000 Cash Award.

The Reserve Grand Champion was Melody-Lane Burdette Sally exhibited by Kaylyn Wood of Saranac, N. Y. Both cows are sired by the Premier Sire of the show, Palmyra Tri-Star Burdette-ET.

Daltondale Farms of Hartland, Wis., took home the Premier Breeder award. For the second year in a row, the Premier Exhibitor banner went to Old Bankston of Epworth, Iowa.

Judge Paul Trapp of Taylor, Wis., placed 241 animals with the assistance of Associate Keith Topp of Botkins, Ohio.
