Registration is now open for the Dairy Calf and Heifer Association annual conference, to be held March 31-April 1, 2015 at the Madison Marriott West in Madison, WI. This year’s conference lineup features some exciting new changes, including the change to a new two-day format, a pre-conference event and tour, and sessions focused on the dairy beef sector.
“This year’s conference has been condensed into a great two-day event focused on the latest in calf and heifer raising,” says Vickie Franken, owner of City View Farms, near Sioux Center, Iowa and 2015 conference committee co-chair. “The new two-day format has allowed us to introduce a very unique experience to producer and veterinarians through the pre-conference event, an addition that the conference planning committee is very excited about.”
The 2015 DCHA Conference will showcase:
– Industry experts sharing research, expertise and advice on calf and heifer management.
– New dairy beef sessions focused on nutritional and economic considerations.
– An exciting pre-conference event hosted by the University of Wisconsin-School of Veterinary Medicine and the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Lab.
– A tradeshow reception featuring a silent auction to raise funds for the DCHA scholarship, live entertainment and more.
